I use Photoshop CS5 but I rarely have time to draw anymore because of school, so in a way you could say all I use is MAYA HAHAHHAHAHA badum-chi, I'm funny.
No really, sorry but I have neither of those. I am not all that comfortable with having people watch me draw because I feel like it puts pressure on me. Like "Denim, don't you DARE make any mistakes cause you are supposed to seem FLAWLESS to your watchers" and all that crap, y'know? I know it isn't like that, but you know, brain thinks it is so anyway. WHat can I do.
I wish I could offer you to just see me draw through skype's screen share option but my computer is so bad that it won't be able to correctly run photoshop while I do so. Imagine how it would do if I actually streamed.
But thank you for your kind words. After a long and painfully boring day with MAYA it's nice to sit down and find this 8 days old comment from someone.
If there's anything you'd like from me besides streaming, like WIP screenshots or critique or tips or something, feel free to ask me anytime, kay? I may be slow on replying but that's just cause I'm stressed and busy, but I'll come around to it, I promise.
Have a very nice day or night (whenever you see this) <3

Just continue all your awesome Drawing at your speed, I will wait for your next update of your gallery *^*

Of course I answered! I'm just a little slow lately that's all.

Well, I haven't actually ever done a tutourial and I doubt the way I do things is at all effective. I lack control, you see. I rush into detail too quickly. So far I have only been taught by myself, you see, which means there are many ways to improve my work flow that I have not been aware of before. There's only so much you can do for yourself, you know. But since I'm now studying art I'm sure I will improve my work flow eventually.

What I am trying to say is that you probably wouldn't benefit from a tutourial by me right now, because I simply have no control over what I'm doing. All I do is paint a clean face at first and then fix whatever looks wrong with it. THEN everything else. I don't really have a plan on how to proceed. It's kinda chaotic actually. But when i feel like I know what I'm doing I could be pursuaded to do a tutourial.
You see, I'd rather wait with giving you a tutourial till I know I can do a proper one, than teaching you how to have simply no control over your work even though it looks okay. It's just not a pleasent way to work - believe me o__o

But I can give you some tips. From what I can see in your gallery you know digital painting, right? And you seem to like human figures. As do I <3
What I think would be good for you is to go to some croquis sessions if you are able to. Otherwise you can probably find some online still picture croquis pages of some sort. In case you don't know what croquis is: Drawing a naked model that takes on different poses. You will have about 5 minutes to draw one pose.
The idea is that you should get down the volume of the model. Nothing detailed; just draw the basic shape of the model so you get that feel of what you should do to draw less stiff characters. It's also a fast way to practice anatomy.

Now, I don't know what kind of style you want to end up with the day you become Da Vinci skilled, but regardless of what you want to do stylewise, it's good to know anatomy and being able to draw it as correctly as possible. People will argue that their stuff looks "bad" because it's their style (I'm sure you've heard this) but in reality you can tell when something looks bad because the artist isn't experienced enough. You can tell when it's a choice of style and when it's lack of practice.
So what I think you should do is draw some anatomy/ crouquis stuff. It will be shit boring but it's gonna be worth it in the end.
And if you like painting stuff then you should try and paint with values. That means you shouldn't have any lineart and you shouldn't paint the lines on either. You should try and make the shades your "lineart". If an object has dark shadows you could do a lighter background to make the object even darker, and vice versa.

Does this help you in any way? I'm sorry, I talk too much, but I feel a little bad for being such a shitty help to you so... hence the text wall.

(btw your english is easily understood so I don't think your english is bad. It's a pretty hard language actually because so many things doesn't make any sense. However, you should try learning danish if you're up for a challenge. I have been told it's the hardest language in the world to learn so I guess that makes me smart HAHAHAHAHHA. Someone give me a trophy for being the best comedian in Europe. No srsly, your english is fine <3)
